Now you can sync your HR Omni Solutions calendar directly with your personal calendar, allowing you to see who’s on leave across your team or company all in one view. This integration is to help you to stay organised and up to date with your plans.

What is iCal integration?  

iCal is a standard format used by most calendar applications, such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook. By integrating iCal with HR Omni Solutions you can now sync employee absences from our platform with the calendar you use every day. This means no more toggling between platforms, everything will be available in one place in real time.

How to integrate iCal  

1. Log in to HR Omni Solutions.
2. Go to your “My time off”.
3. Copy the provided iCal link on the right side of your personal calendar.
4. Open your preferred calendar app (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, etc.).
5. Choose the option to Add Calendar via URL.
6. Paste the copied iCal link. Your HR Omni Solutions absences will now appear in your external calendar.

Tips  

If your employee absences are not syncing, check if your iCal link is correctly added to your calendar. New events might take up to a couple of hours to appear on your external calendar. Make sure your calendar app is set to automatically sync at regular intervals.
