Managing user access at HR Omni Software is a straightforward process. You can easily configure access control settings to ensure that the correct users have the appropriate level of access to data within your organisation. This post will provide a comprehensive guide to assign or revoke different access roles for your users.
It is essential to have a clear understanding of the different access levels that our platform provides. There is two types of access levels:
Users with Full Access can view, edit, delete, or create records in the module to which the role applies, whereas users with Read Only access can only view the data without the ability to make changes. A general rule of thumb is that if a role does not include Read Only in its description, it allows the user to make changes.
Role | Description |
---|---|
Administrator | Users holding this role have the highest access on the platform. They are able to read and change all of your data on the platform. Every company MUST have at least one administrator. Only users with this role can provide extra access to other company users. |
Company Admin | Users with this role can read and change information on the company details, billing, payment methods and departments. |
Users Admin | Users with this role can read and edit any of the company users data, as well as creating and inviting new users into the platform. |
Leave Management Admin | Users with this access role can read and change Absence module settings. It also provides such users with access to the company Absence module screens, and the ability to review submitted requests. |
Assets and Inventory Admin | Users with this access role can see, edit and create new assets. They can manage all aspects of the company Assets and Inventory module. |
Read-Only Administrator | Gives the user ability to view all modules and data on the platform. Users with this access role can only read the data without being able to edit it. |
Read-Only Company Admin | Users with this role can read the information on the company details, billing, payment methods and departments without the ability to make changes to any of them. |
Read-Only Users Admin | Users with this role can view and search for any user on the platform and then see their details. |
Read-Only Leave Management Admin | Users with this access role can view Absence module settings, and access Absence Dashboard and Pending requests without the ability to make changes to any of those areas. |
Read-Only Assets and Inventory Admin | Users with this access role can see the information in the Assets and Inventory module without the ability to make changes to it. |
